This event is hosted by the Clear Creek Booster Club, and it is planned by parent volunteers.
Proceeds from the GTIS Half Marathon go directly to supporting middle school and high school students in Clear Creek County.

UPDATES FOR GTIS HALF 2022 EVENT:

In 2022, the GTIS Half will have a staggered start line - participants will start every 15 minutes from 7:00am - 9:00am. YOU get to select your start time during registration. Register early to secure the start time of your choosing. These times will be strictly adhered to, please plan your arrival accordingly.

RUN PERKS: Custom finisher medal, great shirt (designed by one of the students at Clear Creek High School or Middle School), fresh mountain air, beautiful scenery, and a fun, post-race celebration!

We are thrilled to announce that Clear Creek Metropolitan Recreation District (CCMRD) will be hosting live music, featuring 2nd Time Around (https://2ndtimearouned.band/) and a beer garden featuring local brews, including favorites from Tommyknockers Brewery and Slaymaker Cellars.
COLORADO MOUNTAIN HALF+ SERIES
Run Your Tranquility in 2022: FIVE of Colorado’s original and most beloved half marathons have teamed together to create the Colorado Mountain Half+ Series! Start the series with the Estes Park Half Marathon on 6/19/22, then run a PR at our very own GTIS Half on 8/13/22, enjoy the "Switzerland of Colorado" and run the Mt. Sneffels Half Marathon on 8/20/22, experience Nederland at the Ned*Ned Half Marathon on 9/10/22 and finish the series with the Lead King Loop 25K (15.5 Miles) on 9/18/22 in breathtaking Marble, CO.
