BUS TRANSPORTATION
PRE - RACE START:
Time:
6:00am - 8:30am
Buses will be picking up participants at three locations in Idaho Springs - starting at 6am and running every 30minutes until 8:30am. The last bus to the start line will be at 8:30am.
Please arrive early enough to park and catch the shuttle in Idaho Springs to get to the start line.
The bus trip itself is about 20 minutes. PARTICIPANTS PLEASE USE THE SCHOOL BUSES. SPECTATORS PLEASE USE "THE ROUNDABOUT" TO GET BUSSED TO THE BASEBALL FIELDS.

2. Corner of 23rd and Colorado Blvd. (west side of the street)
3. Corner of 12th and Idaho St. by the Rec Center
RACE FINISH:
There is no designated event parking in Georgetown and there will not be shuttle service from the finish line back to Georgetown after the event. Shuttles back to Idaho Springs from the Finish area will start at 9:30 and run continuous loops to the same spots as pick-up, with the last bus leaving the Ballfields at 1:00 PM.

AID STATIONS & PORT-A-POTTIES
AID STATIONS:
Water stations will be at MM3, 6, 8, 10, 12 and the finish area, with WATER ONLY.
PORT-A-POTTIES:
Bus pick up in Idaho Springs, Georgetown Lake (start area), MM1, MM2, MM4, MM6, MM8, MM10, MM12 and TBD (post race location).
ALTITUDE & WEATHER
The elevation at the start is 8,500 feet, and gradually descends to 7,500 feet at the finish. Temperatures in the early morning at this elevation can be around 50° and can reach up to 85° at the finish. While conditions are usually optimal at this time of year, athletes should always be prepared for adverse weather because the race is run in
a mountainous location.
CHIP TIMING TAG INSTRUCTIONS
This race will be timed using an electronic timing chip. You must wear the timing tag for the duration of the race to receive full race results. The timing chip is attached to your bib, so please do not fold your bib or place a magnet on your bib it will render the chip useless. There is a $10 replacement fee for all lost or damaged chips.
Once the race is over you may keep the bib and chip but do not stand next to the finish line because it will keep setting off the timing mat.

Professional Race Photography is being sponsored this year by Inspire Action Marketing and photography will be taken by Liberty Pro Imaging.
Race Photographs will be available approximately 72 hours after the race.
T-SHIRTS & MEDALS
Gender specific short sleeve T-shirts will be included with your registration, and may be picked up at early packet pick-up or at the finish line on race day at the Baseball Fields in Idaho Springs.
Finisher medals will be available to all participants at the finish line.
AWARDS
Our coveted race-themed awards will be presented to the following age groups: Top 3 Male, Female in ages 19/under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
NEW THIS YEAR:
The Top 3 finishers in the non-binary category (not age specific) will receive an award.
